Happy Scrapbook Day and Cinco de Mayo! There is a special place in my heart for both of these celebrations! First of all, Cinco de Mayo is a huge part of my family heritage. I’m so proud and honored to have my Hispanic background. I have so many amazing family members that I love dearly, both past and present. Second… National Scrapbook Day! This too is truly a celebration. I love having a special day dedicated to my favorite hobby/obsession!
Today, I plan on eating yummy Mexican food while doing lots of crafting! I think that is a requirement. LOL I have lots of fun projects in the works. Next week is teacher appreciation week. On Monday, I’ll be posting what I did for my sons wonderful 5th grade teacher and my daughters amazing preschool teacher. Please make sure you tell your teachers how great they are. On Friday, I will have my first blog post for Expression Vinylhttp://expressionsvinylblog.com/ ! I’m so excited for this. The project I have done for them is truly ROCKIN’!!! May 13th is Mother’s Day! Don’t forget that one! I’ll post pictures of that as well. May is off to a very busy start!!!
Today, I want to share some wood tiles I made. I used the amazing paper created by Teresa Collins. The collection is called Sweet Afternoon. I love everything about this paper! It’s so elegant and beautiful. If you haven’t seen Teresa’s collections, head over to http://teresacollinsdesignteam.blogspot.com/ and check out what her design team has made! This is by far my favorite paper line out there.
I hope you enjoy these blocks as much as I do!
